for the weekends

this picture belongs to Hermann, it was taken last autumn in Brasov. I use it because I left the camera home for the weekend :(. anyways, I doubt that from the spa I would get some pictures. but I come with some recomendations (Frau Novala, pay attention!).
In Poiana Brasov: go eat at Coliba Haiducilor (http://www.colibahaiducilor.ro/) but eyes wide open to the bill- apparently there is a hidden "tax for foreigners", and this in spite of my more-than-fluent Romanian. than, with no trouble at all go stay/relax in the spa at Piatra Mare Hotel (apparently website under construction, but nevertheless www.piatramare.ro). excellent services, spa and breakfast.
then when in Sinaia go eat at the cosy La Teleferic. family-run restaurant, really delicious Romanian dishes, nice prices (no trouble with the bill). try the "ciorba de fasole in paine" (bean soup served in a tubular bread, if you can imagine that!) and the grilled pork ribs marinated in beer. mmmmmmmmmmmmm!
